Sign the appeal for the truth about Fallujah (chemical weapons)

There can never be real peace in Iraq without it being made truth about the human costs caused by the bloody war that has and continues to disfigure the country, and until it is rendered justice to the innocent victims. Documents published by Wikileaks give us a disturbing scenario, already known to those who worked for years in Iraq. The first victims of the war were often deliberately, thousands of innocent civilians. An emblematic case is represented by serious wounds still open, the civilian population caused by the ruthless military operation carried out by U.S. troops in the city of Falluja in 2003 . Then, and in the period from April 4 to May 5, 2004, the civilian population was subjected to indiscriminate bombing campaign that prepared the ground for a second offensive in September 2004. Since then, and until November of that year, thousands of civilians were killed and many were injured or made invalid. Others disappeared into thin air.

appeals for peace and cease-fire were sent to the then UN Secretary General Kofi Annan with weak evidence, despite the seriousness of the crimes of war that U.S. troops were doing in Fallujah in clear and blatant violation of Geneva Conventions and international law Humanitarian . Furthermore, to date no action has been taken by the Government of Iraq or the Iraqi justice to investigate and possibly prosecute those responsible for violations committed in Fallujah (due to the ban on Iraqi judiciary to investigate any U.S. citizen, military or civilian). for this round to urge an international investigation .
Moreover, in recent months has been reported an increase in oncological diseases in the area of \u200b\u200bFallujah, birth defects, and many diseases related to the use of chemical weapons research institutes, the British media and the World Health Organization . We
that after many years, the time has come for the United Nations to undertake in order to return justice to the innocent victims of the massacre and those who are still living the consequences directly.
We appeal to the UN, in order that established an independent committee under the aegis of the UN Human Rights Council and in accordance with the special procedures may shed light on the nature, severity, and the direct and indirect responsibility for crimes committed in the city of Falluja. And that can then ascertain how to appropriately compensate the civilian population since then suffer the consequences of these crimes. The UN should also undertake to appoint a new Special Rapporteur on human rights in Iraq. Click
truth and return justice to the victims of Fallujah is a duty, to reaffirm the centrality of international law and human rights, they are also victims of a war waged under the pretext of fighting terrorism, and since then has not diminished the suffering of the Iraqi people.
